What is UNNC?
UNNC is one of 90 neighborhood councils in Los Angeles. All neighborhood councils get a small operating budget from the city each year. Much of the budget is used for community proposed projects and events. Most of the rest is used by UNNC for outreach and education about our mission, since we are only a few years old.

Neighborhood Councils were created by the charter approved by Los Angeles voters in 1999. Councils formed organically out of existing neighborhoods, which was the intent.
